Smooth Agent is now ready to release the 2nd ep by Cesar Ramirez titled "Exploration". Chicago native Ramirez bring forth 3 fresh track from Chicago underground. Also on board are 2 mixes of the title track by Dj Quad & Sean Smith. On the title track "Exploration" Cesar jacks it up deep underground style. This track truly has Midwest flavor showing influences from Chicago as well as Detroit. On "Anytime" the feel here is deep & dreamy. Smooth keys and heartfelt chords work this late night festival of a track. For "Feel What You Play" we are treated to a deep minimal ride drenched in Soul. Jazz chords are aplenty on this one.
For the Exploration remixes 1st up we have Darren Brandon aka Dj Quad . DJ Quad is a Chicago underground legend. Quad did the music for the cult deep house classic featuring Natalie Cole on "Tell You All About" as Alan Smith in Blueblackness. Quad was also a member of Chicago's Black Ice. He has also released music on labels all over the world. On Quad's take on "Exploration" the song gets totally overhauled . On this deep tech groove Quad also includes his vocals as well. This one is sure to take you to the other side of Chicago house. The 2nd remix is done by none other than Smooth Agent's label boss Sean Smith. On Sean's mix the energy is relentless.
