The synthphonic dream-prog brothers Casey and Jesse from Ohio, USA formed The Receiver in 2005 and were picked up after only a few live performances by New York-based Stunning Models On Display Records and released their debut album Decades in 2006. Their sophomore album Length of Arms followed in 2009 through Vital Music Records, before they joined the Kscope family last year and released their third, All Burn. They have been featured on MTV2’s “Bands on The Rise” and have songs included on the FX Network's series "Dirt" as well as a number of independent shorts and films.

Just off the back of an extensive 113-date tour in the US, playing almost every day from February – July 2016, The Receiver are an incredibly active touring act having previously shared the stage with notable artists such as St. Vincent, Midlake, The Album Leaf, Mono, Dawes, Royal Canoe, Maserati, Telefon Tel Aviv & Operators to name a few.
