Every institution, group, or organization in existence is lying to you constantly. People don't give out information for the sake of you knowing it. They say what you need to hear in order to get a certain response from you. People who benefit from a lifetime of hard work from you without having to pay you very much are always happy to perpetuate the myth that there is life after death, and it is at that point which you will receive a reward for all of your suffering here on earth. That works out pretty nicely for them. Don't you think?
