Hello!



We're Smaller Than You! As a band, we've been through some great times together, our lives very much being shaped around the influence the music we listened to and played. But now it is a shame to finally call it a day as we have to finally grow up and deal with the real world and funny things called jobs. Even though we were on the brink of making our fortune and living the dream, Jasper believes his new side project 'The Itchy Trigger Finga G's' can go all the way and his studio sessions with Snoop are just taking up to much time. We would like to think we could find a new bass player. But we all know that with out him, we just can't go on. It would never work. After Jasper announced his intentions to the band, Alice swiftly ran off to India, for reasons unknown, but we assume she is grieving. We have recieved no contact with her since.



We remember when we first started out our goal was to play a gig at the Norwich Arts Centre. That was it. THE BIG TIME! Before we knew it we were there! But it just wasn't enough! So we set sail to foreign soil with help from friends along the way. EXIT festival in Serbia has to be one of the highlights of our 5 years playing together. Some other great times were had playing at The Junction in Cambridge, The Waterfront in Norwich, Bugjam VW Fest and sharing bills with great bands that we listen and aspire to such as The Slackers, Howards Alias, The King Blues, JB Conspiracy, The Skints, The Planet Smashers and Sonic Boom Six. It also has to be said that great people and friends helped us to make it happen with great support and enthusiasm towards us. Norwich Skanking, you know who you are!



We have four seperate recording sessions under our belts. Our first album features lovely high voices and mistakes a plenty but if you can get past the faults (and bear in mind we were 14 when it was written and recorded) it something we can be very proud of. You can hear our progression as a band from that first recording, through the 'Who Knew EP' (2008) and in the final EP recorded and released in 2010 as a farewell to see us off. All are now free to download, as well as the odd CD copy for dirt cheap so please do check them out!



This band, while small and insignificant to some, has played a major part in our lives for the last 5 years and we've loved sharing it with people who took enough notice to come to our gigs and maybe even bought a bit of merch too!
