12 years ago Eduardo Martinez (The Flaming Sideburns) and Joe Klenner (Corazones Muertos) decided to record a few Smack and The Fishfaces songs to pay tribute to Claude their late singer that passed away a few years before. It ended as a full lenght album named « Hyena Planet Bites On You » and recorded in Argentina, originally released on Bourbon records in 2004.

The album is featuring 12 tracks that invite the listener into a journey through the musical career of the young Finnish rock artist Claude was. From his days with Smack (a major influence for bands such as Guns N Roses or Nirvana) to his second combo The Fishfaces.
While the record showcase mostly well known songs from Claude's bands, the last 2 tracks have never been recorded by The Fishfaces before and give an interesting view on what the band was headed for. Gone Baby Blue Forever -that wasn't included on the initial release - is also featuring Fishfaces late guitar player Juha Metsola.
Out of print and quite difficult to find now, Alive and Kickin' is proud to re-issued this great record with updated tracklisting, artwork and liner notes.
The new edition will be available in CD digisleeve and in Digital format this Spring.
