This song is actually a little older, written by Sly Joe in the late 20th century while playing the part of Joe Stevens in the band "Something Phonic". At the start of the video, Joe refers to an organ intro traditionally played by Something Phonic keyboarder Mark Martin during their cross country tours. At the time this song was originally recorded by Something Phonic (for their classic 'Organic' album), the band had taken the unusual habit of tuning their instruments down a 1/2 step from standard tuning.
The event was Waterfest in Oshkosh, WI, and The Smooth Ops held the slot position tightly for Rusted Root to follow. 28 July 2011
