Slic1 is an international artist who is already making his mark with his recognisable talent, legion of fans and great accomplishments so far.
Born to Nigerian parents the rapper has obtained great multicultural experience living in Atlanta U.S which is echoed in his diversified styles of music. He ingeniously blends each of his elements of heritage, mixing the powerful and abrupt style with the native harmonies and tribal beats of Africa. He meanwhile stays loyal to his birthplace, holding strong to the modest yet determined attitude and raw talent of a London artist, unique in comparison to many rappers today.
Although he has many achievements so far commercially, with his music being used in games by EA Sports as well as Hollywood movies such as 'The Deceiver' and 'Face of the Penguins', Slic1 has stayed well grounded choosing his music to be portrayed and applied only in the way he intended.
His lyrical aptitude shines with inventiveness and originality. Delivered with the smooth sound and deep tones of his voice his work is truly hypnotising.
