Since his first release back in 2008 genetic.krew aka Marcel Terstall constantly keeps on bringing us bass heavy tracks without any boundaries. No matter if drum and bass, dubstep, garage or even techno he’s always able to bring his signature sound to any genre he puts his hands on.

After several releases on international and UK Dubstep Labels (like Skuzzy Beatz, Basspunch rec. or Have-a-Break recordings) genetic.krew finally lands some 130bpm bass bangers at the German off the hook label Beatwax records. The title track trouble is a fast driving breakbeat monster with a slightly Miami Bass feel while power animal is on the deeper, darker side of breaks and scores with a massive synth line. The third, planet nine, kicks you with a dominant, cowbellish sound over a trappy triplets beat before the last one, JNGL, brings back the piano jungle vibes from the early 90ies.
