I saw Dres 3 years ago also in Jazz Cafe,but back then he was just a guest on the De La Soul concert.This time that was his own show,with a help of Dj Strike.I've still got somewhere on VHS my first legendary Yo!Mtv Rap's show episode where Fab 5 Freddy has got an interview with him straight after release of the most know group's debut A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing from 91'.Although my favourite 1 is a totally slept-on second effort Non-Fiction from 94'.But the thing is the whole discography of Black Sheep (including Dres solo album) is very good,and unlike the most of the old groups they managed to keep very high quality level of their records up to date.Their ( or actually I should say his-Dres,because Mista Lawgne left group again) album From The Black Pool Of Genius is one of the best releases in this year so far.Concert was of course very good,maybe not too many people turn up but the atmosphere was great.Dres was in shape (despite his red eyes :) ) but because of the small misunderstanding between him and his Dj,the biggest highlight of the night -The Choice Is Yours was ruined.Anyway it was just a small minus during this special night.Flavor of the Month?Without A Doubt my hommie :)
