Tommy Bones & Lydia Rhodes "What I Feel" (Terry Lee Brown Jr. Mix) - Video
PUBLISHED:  Sep 26, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
Singer/songwriter, LYDIA RHODES, first gained international acclaim for her string of seminal club anthems throughout the 90s and early 00s that became synonymous with Junior Vasquez and his massively successful reigns at "Sound Factory", "Juniorverse" and "Arena". Tracks like "DJ, Give Me That Funky Bass" (MCA), "Live It Cool (Just Do It)" (Pagoda/MCA), "Away" (Ultra) and "Until The Moment" (Liquid Groove) were hailed as definitive staples in his sets and packed danccefloors worldwide with their driving grooves, infectious melodies and Rhodes' silky, commanding vocals.

On her latest release, "WHAT I FEEL", Lydia teams up with ace producer/DJ, TOMMY BONES, to unveil a soul-stirring, minimal Afro-tech laced groove oozing with sensual lyrics and sultry vocal caresses that engage, haunt and transfix the listener against a percolating backdrop of thumping percussion, sparkling lush keys and swelling electronic effects. This is 21st Century deep house anthem with teeth!

For Part One of the remix set, Rhodes enlists legendary house music pioneer, Eric Kupper, and German tech-house innovator, Terry Lee Brown Jr. to cleverly reinvent the song into a soaring, peak time master suite owing much to classic Def Mix (Frankie Knuckles and David Morales), and a funky, cerebral tech-house scorcher radiating with dreamy synth washes, hypnotic vocals and crisp punctuated beats ideal for maximum late night/early morning spins.
