The 70’s brought a special gift to our world of music, Shyzte that is and with perfect timing. As she is now all grown up, this beautiful talented woman has found her voice in the hip-hop music game. Since the music industry is currently lacking with its shine on female hip-hop artists, the scene is begging for the female perspective. Shyzte cannot only fill this void but soar beyond their expectations with all she has to say.
Shyzte is an empowered woman who learned early in life the good and bad lessons of the game. She has mastered the art of the hustle as a youngster by watching the actions of those who cared for her, and cared for her well. She bettered her musical side by studying and looking up to artists such as Salt n’ Peppa, Mc Lyte, Tupac Shakur, Biggie Smallz, Lil Kim, and Outkast. While perfecting her craft she was always rapping, dancing, and performing in some way, able to maintain the spotlight in any crowd.
Shyzte is official, a rare to find original who writes all of her own material. She is consistently productive in her writing while being inspired by the experiences she’s lived. Her hard-hitting lyrics create images to vividly tell the story of herself and others. She writes often in her own personal time as her thought process is constantly flowing. Even while driving, this amazing artist creates rhymes and hooks. She believes that music doesn’t always have to represent booty shakin’. She wants women to have a better sense of self and this shows through in her music. Her wisdom and lyrics combined always deliver.
Success, for Shyzte, is defined as personal gratification. She is blessed to receive this gratification every time she sets foot on stage and delivers a hyped crowd-pleasing performance. She and her music are hitting home with both the female and male population. Time and time again her fan base shows loyalty as word is passed and is growing at a rapid pace. Due to the demand for her music, has performed at reputable venues all over the state of Florida, as well as made appearances in Georgia and South Carolina.
The sound Shyzte produces represents true dirty south flavor with a commercial and marketable quality. This not only appeals to her audience but to the DJ’s and mix-tape producers. She has worked with DJ Majik Mike, Tech Master P (Gods of Bass Album), DJ Daddy Stro aka Strizzo, and more. She is being added to various future mix-tape billings and can currently be found on mix-tapes produced by DJ Meddafore (Philly Mix-tape King), DJ H Vidal, DJ Splack, DJ EJ Da King, DJ Slim, DJ Jay Mix, and the Muck City DJs. Shyzte has been featured on Strizzo’s song “Low Low 2” which is hitting hard in Florida. She has also recently released her hit singe “Tip Sumptin” featuring Tom G, which has proven fire in the clubs and streets. Not only is her music in the clubs and streets, she is also receiving spins from several radio stations such as XM Radio Ch65 (Dennis Blaze Southern Cal), 101.3fm The Beat (Ced D & Lil D), QTQfm Hardford, and more.
Right now she is working her album and the process of putting this album together is all being captured on film, which will soon be release on DVD. Shyzte is also planning on releasing her own mix-tape titled “HBIC” (Head Bit@h In Charge.) Broader moves are to be expected from Shyzte as well. Her future plans include writing and releasing a book on empowering women of the industry, starting her own record label, and eventually developing a clothing line to share her style and taste with the world.
Shyzte will be able to be remembered as a woman who is true to herself as an individual and as an artist. And for now, she wakes up every morning motivated by the fact that she loves life in the music industry and that she is one day closer to fulfilling her dreams. She will continue to drive forward with her well-known smile every step of the way. She embodies a spirit of joy and beautiful nature with an equal ability to drop wise lyrics and hot performances. She is proving that talent, hard work, determination, and being “yourself” can get the job done.
