Soul Search Live, Episode 3: The Never Evers - Video
PUBLISHED:  Oct 29, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
Someone done crossed the river! We invited our good friends, Brooklyn art-punkers, The Never Evers to the studio, and the results were...sexy?

The band plays "Hey Grace!" and "Mine All Mine," and lead singer Kit gives us probably the best theatrics we'll have all season. Also, Tony does some cool stuff with his guitar that more or less questions the boundaries of what constitutes a musical instrument. Did that sound douchy? I figured that as I was typing it, but sometimes you just have to roll with it.

PLUS we interview the band and find out more about Kit's outfits, and where they would live if they weren't in New York.

We couldn't fit the entire interview in here, so we cut a special episode of just the interview. In it, we'll go more into how the band formed, Walter's thoughts on Chicago-style pizza versus New York-style pizza, whether or not it's too soon to make jokes about Fukushima, and the oh-so-subtle distinctions in Canadian regional accents.

If you already subscribe, please disregard what's about to follow. If you don't, you brought this on yourself.

OH GOD, WHY DON'T YOU SUBSCRIBE? I THOUGHT WE MEANT SOMETHING TO EACH OTHER! WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT FROM ME? (uncontrollable sobbing followed by dry heaving and finally quietly rocking back and forth while singing the theme song from "The Greatest American Hero").

Want more Soul Search? I think we might have some in the back...
