Music Is Art is a not-for-profit organization founded by Goo Goo Dolls bassist Robbie Takac, dedicated to exploring and reshaping music's cultural, social, and educational impact on the Western New York community. One of their largest annual events is the Music Is Art festival. Since it's humble beginning in 2003 in a small parking lot on Franklin Street in downtown Buffalo, the Festival has grown to become Buffalo’s most extensive exhibition of local art, dance, and music.
