Its Shocka yh born in raised in heart of north London, I started spitting at the age of 14 and I was influenced to MC by Solo 45 who at the time was really at his prime and was in boy better know. I realized I was good at it and grew confidence to continue and peruse my career as an artist. The first crew I joined was Chain Gang, we put out a Mixtape called “Links are too strong” and sold very well in stores. I was also playing football which was taking up a lot of time because I was at a semi professional level and had training lot of the time. I still put a lot of work in both and I was attending pirate stations such as heat fm. Heat FM really put me on the map in north London and people started taking an big interest in me.

I had school issues and my mum decided to send me to my home land Nigeria to continue my education, this damaged both my football and music. I was in Nigeria for 2 years, it was a culture shock and now I appreciate the benefits we have over here in the UK. When I got back in Nigeria everything had changed and a lot people I was with had overtaken me. I jumped straight back into the music and out my work in HARD. Things were going very pear shaped so I left and went solo for a while, I was then debating with myself on whether to quit because I was getting fed up of the scene so I took a little break for a while. I started to go to recording studio called Alwayz Recording and that’s where I met Vertex, we got on really well and made a few tracks together, the tunes were bangers so he asked me if I wanted to join Marvell



Marvell consist of Double S, Shocka, DJ Limit & Myself. We are actually signed to Alwayz Recording and they are pushing us out alongside Chipmunk. We are a group of naturally talented music artists, who grew up in the same residential area, with the same vision and drive to make music which speaks for the streets which sets us apart from other similar collectives.
