Lyrically you are the patient, waking up to dreamy arpeggiators, smooth Moog bass lines with sweeping filters, then a beat drops thats would wake anyone up from anaesthesia. Broken beats evolve into a driving 4-to-the-floor chorus, certainly a procedure you could see New Order approving. Thoughtful Vocals become spliced with the spoken vocoder hook line “Plastic Surgery”.

At a time when we’re looking back to the 80’s from the Net Flicks smash hit Stranger Things to the rebirth of the Mini Moog, and the continuation of the Star Wars Saga, Shmoo deliver a video that takes you on a nostalgic journey through an animated world filled with retro toys…. Following on from their previous single “Ghost”, keeping up the narrative, the band disappear from Purgatory and find themselves recreated as plastic figures, where they encounter all manner of characters from Transformers, Thunder Cats, Zoids to He-Man and more…
