Shem Meluce, renowned St. Lucian Gospel artiste, has once again penned another fan-loved track, but this time with a twist! He embraces his creole heritage and expresses his trust in God through difficult times, using the native Kweyol dialect.

October has been dubbed “creole Month” in St. Lucia and as the island celebrates its creole culture, Meluce is urging everyone to “Call on God” through his new single “Kuyé Knoun.” The song highlights Meluce’s faithfulness to his heavenly father, despite varying views from others. Meluce hopes that this song reaches way past St. Lucian borders to islands such as Dominica, Martinique, Guadeloupe and Haiti that also embrace the dialect and need comfort after experiencing both natural and social disasters.
