SHARIFA SHI

Born in South London as an 80's baby Sharifa Shi soon adopted Music following the creative path of her family. Today, Sharifa Shi is an Award Singer Songwriter, Performer and an emerging business women.



In 2006 Dan 'D-Boy' Naqui, Chris Marsac and herself set up the production company 'Synergetic' writing for signed and developing artists and were collectively awarded 'Best Contemporary Pop Song' for their Indie Soul Classic 'Reap What you Sow' by The British Academy Of Songwriters and Composers.

Following this they were nominated for the Apple.com award and came second with the soulful ballad 'Heartbreaker'. Their eclectic style and influences stemming from 90's Swing to Folk and Rock made their productions unique and completely unpredictable and with Sharifa Shi's soulful edge and quirky songwriting, collectively made them ahead of their time.



Best known for the vocal feature in the song 'Cry' the underground hit by Swiss (So Solid Crew), Sharifa Shi has proven to many in her live sets that she is more than just a recording artist but a genuine and unique talent.



Sharifa Shi reveals that "the past two years have been a positively challenging journey of self discovery" but ultimately found herself back in the studio. Time will tell what Sharifa's been cooking but one things for sure, it will definatley be worth the wait. Stay Tuned!
