This record was released as a single in the US in early 1956 and this was the Billboard review: "This recording, an import from Scotland, presents typical folk dance material from that country. The "Bluebell Polka" is a bonnie tune, with a firm beat, and falls easily on the ears." Billboard rating: 67 out of 100. In the US, the b-side was "The Barn Dance (Impudence)".
