Lyrics :-
suno ji ek baat tum
hamaara dil hua hai gum
ho ho ho
tumhaari jalwaagaah mein
madhur madhur nigaah mein
milan ki mast raah mein
suno ji ek baat tum
ho ho ho
na chhed mujhko ik nazar
kisi ki mujhko kya khabar
o o o
main apne dil ka raag hoon
main zindagi ka saaz hoon
machal gayi to aag hoon
ho ho
na chhed mujhko ik nazar
kisi ki mujhko kya khabar
kuchh to boliye
raaz kholiye
aaj se aapke
hum to ho liye
aisi baaten aur se kahiye
dhyaan kidhar hai
hosh mein rahiye
ho ho ho
suno ji ek baat tum
hamaara dil hua hai gum
ho ho ho
tumhaari jalwaagaah mein
madhur madhur nigaah mein
milan ki mast raah mein
ho ho
suno ji ek baat tum
hamaara dil hua hai gum
aap agar na humpe hanste
kaise baste pyaar ke raste
gar sataaoge dukh uthaaoge
dil mein mere rah na paaoge
ho ho ho
suno ji ek baat tum
hamaara dil hua hai gum
ho ho ho
tumhaari jalwaagaah mein
madhur madhur nigaah mein
milan ki mast raah mein
ho ho
suno ji ek baat tum
hamaara dil hua hai gum
ho ho ho...
Iqbal Qurashi : The forgotten Music Composer ..
Iqbal Qureshi was a famous music composer in the hindi film industry. He is best remembered for the songs, "Subah Na Aaye", "Main Apne Aap Se Ghabraa" based on Raag Tilang, & "Phir Aane Laga Yaad Wahi" sung by Mohammed Rafi.
As a Hindi film music composer several of Qureshi's melodies were written by renowned lyricists like Farooq Kaiser, Bharat Vyas, Ehsan Rizvi, Hasrat Jaipuri, Qamar Jalalabadi, Neeraj, Jaan Nisar Akhtar, Shewan Rizvi, Kaifi Azmi, Akhtar Romani, Naseem Ajmeri, and Rajendar Krishan.
Qureshi also worked with a lot of big names in playback singing like Suman Kalyanpur, Asha Bhonsle, Mohammed Rafi, Mubarak Begum, Lata Mangeshkar, Amit Kumar, Madhubala Zaveri, Manna Dey, Anuradha Paudwal and Geeta Dutt.

Bhagwandas Mulchand Luthria aka Sudhir (1944 – 12 May 2014)
was a Bollywood film actor. He was best known for his role in the film Satte Pe Satta with Amitabh Bachchan. He acted in over 200 films in a career spanning from 1962 to 2009
Thousands come to Bombay every year hoping to become a star. Many fail to become anything. But Sudhir carved out a small shelf space for himself. He may not have become a star but he certainly lived his life in the movies.
It’s no shame being an honest spoke in the giant Bollywood wheel.
It is evident Sudhir was far better known than the length of most online obituaries suggest.
I was aware he had started off as a side-hero in Hindi films before finding some success as a villain. But couldn’t remember their names while writing the blog.
Now thanks to Rashid Saood’s comments, I am pasting the links of two songs that were filmed on him. Both are quality melodies.
The first is from the film, Umar Qaid (1961). Mujhe raat din yeh khayal hai, woh nazar se mujhko gira na de, can easily figure in any best of Mukesh collection. The track was composed by Iqbal Qureshi, especially famous for his work in Cha Cha Cha. The lady in the picture is Nazima, generally known for playing the rakhi-tying sister in superhits such as Arzoo
The second song is a haunting Madan Mohan composition from director Chetan Anand’s anti-war classic, Haqeeqat (1964). Penned by Kaifi Azmi and sung by Mohd Rafi, the song goes, Main yeh soch kar uske ghar se chala tha
Sudhir is sans the moustache, which became his trademark in later years, in both songs.
