Matt Shaft, a Croatian singer/songwriter, is a fourth year student of Musical academy of Zagreb. Ever since he was a small child he's been playing music. His primary instrument is Violin. When he started working as a performer, he was playing covers which he tried to make unique and he put them on his YouTube channel. In 2015 he recorded his first single „Move on“. That is how his story began. After that he recorded 3 more singles „My love“, „Worry“ and „Say“ which he have an opportunity to listen to at Balcony TV. The single „Say“ represents a turning point in his career, because it set the foundation and the direction for his music. Matt can play other instruments beside the violin and he considers himself to be a multi-instrumentalist. Most of the instruments on his singles were recorded by him. He describes his style as dreamy pop with some mixture of folk and electronic music. His greatest inspiration were Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Jack Garratt and others. For the Autumn of 2017 he is announcing his first album on which we will be able to listen to his first four singles.
