The Revolts were formed in 2005 by Adam O'Regan, Shane Joyce and Donagh Seaver O'Leary. Inspired by Donagh's love of Funk, Shane's love of Rock and Adam's ever eclectic taste, they aimed to create a revolutionary, electric and non-pretentious sound that would reverberate for generations. In 2006, The Revolts gained a 4th member, piano God Utsav Lal. Adam heard Utsav Lal playing classical piano in a local school mass and quickly offered him the position of keyboard player for The Revolts. Utsav, who loves all genres of music particurlarly Rock, accepted Adam's proposal. The band jammed with their new member and their was instantaneous excitement as the revolutionary sound Adam, Donagh and Shane had been searching for, was born. However, in mid 2007, The Revolts, after much thought and deliberation, went through a major change in which drummer Shane Joyce was replaced by Dil Lynch and Singer/Songwriter Stephen Appleby was introduced to the lineup.
