Seventh Harmonic are an all-female neoclassical ensemble creating sensual euphoric epics which draw on a great diversity of influences. The music blends an intoxicating kaleidoscope of rhythmic intensity and soaring vocals with ethno-symphonic overtures, defying categorisation yet always beating with a dark romantic heart.
Formed initially in 1999 in London, the multi-vocalist project gradually made waves on the international ethereal scene, although the powerful and experimental nature of the sound did not fit entirely into that genre. After self-releasing three albums and making appearances on national UK TV and radio, the founder members Caroline Jago and Éilish McCracken decided to take a break and focus on their involvement with other projects, including Sol Invictus and Sorrow.
