No Wives, is not for the weak of heart; you’ll find a this underlying tension that has you on edge as the group knifes their way through the entire LP / Austin Town Hall
If that’s frowncore, count us in / Backseat Mafia
No Wives is a taut, sweaty beast dripping with claustrophobic dread, urgent bass, and jittery guitar that burst into unexpected blizzards of noise producing an unnerving swirl of off kilter sound / Bearded Gentlemen Music
No Wives has the charm of a mother gorilla angrily protecting its kin / D4AM
A collection of crazed, intense, menacing but truly brilliant punk tunes / Drunken Werewolf
It is an involved listen, creating anticipation for the next musical idea / Slug
Some are going to say No Wives is genius, others will call it trash / Surviving The Golden Age
Noisy, abrasive, sharp-elbowed, almost math-rock band with shades of Fugazi, Rites of Spring, Jawbox, and other later ’80s Dischord delights. Angular? Shouty? Stop-starty? Prickly? Full of precision mayhem? It’s all good / The Big Takeover
Having just found it… I was forced to immediately crank up the volume to 11 forcing my children to run for their lives as the lack of preparation for this aural onslaught of goodness got the best of them / Middle Tennessee Music
Punchy, lacerating, powerful new(ish) presence on whatever scene you want to tag them with; or better yet, leave scenes out of it and simply enjoy them for their blend of anarchy and tautness / Movement
Monstrous and awesomely weird / Music & Riots
They look to conquer the world / Pittsburgh In Tune
For those with experimentation in their genes, it is a mouth-watering dissonance to get fully involved in / The RingMaster Review
An unpardonable riff monster / Underdog Fanzine
Wonderfully eccentric / Record Collector
No Wives is another reason why we continue to love Falling Stacks. Their music continues to be just as loose and chaotic as ever but it still manages to deliver on the riffs, the hooks and the sheer velocity of it continues to blow me away. I love you Falling Stacks / Exploded Head Review
