Serena True aka Mz. True is a 24 year old rapper/singer/songwriter from South London. From an early age Serena used music and creative interests has an escape from life on an council estate and in the 90's won an array of medals including a Gold as Croydon's best dancer, it was at the age of 13 when Serena then started turning her poetry into music, with her wide range of music influences such as Michael Jackson,Beyonce, Lil Kim, Christina Aguilara, Drake, Toni Braxton (just to name a few) Serena music is universal, she's an artist that can write and perform something for everybody. Her music has both meaning and makes sense, its strong,uplifting, empowering with a touch rawness.Mz.True is not known to do anything by halves and has already rocked out venues across England with her energetic and exciting live performances.Currently Mz. True is just putting the final touches to her debut mix tape titled 'the bad bitch is back" which will be available via free download on the www.ukrapmusic.com site, she is also recording tracks for her debut album which is due for release date still to be decided
