DESCRIPTION:
April 6th 1941. Nazis begin bombing Belgrade as part of Operation Retribution.
Ivan (Slavko Štimac) is feeding the animals at the Beo Zoo Vrt (Belgrade Zoo) while bombs begin to fall from the sky and manages to save Soni the monkey from the destruction.

The music on this scene is based on the popular Serbian song "Stani, stani Ibar vodo" (" Stop, stop, Ibar river") written by Dragiša Nedović. It appears on the soundtrack as "War" and is played by the Radio-Televizija Beograd Orkestar (Radio and Television Orchestra of Belgrade) and its Chorus under the direction of Bojan Suđić and Goran Bregović is credited as writter and arranger.
