DESCRIPTION:
My friend, Sebastian Krys, who lives in California, ordered a custom built Millennium Falcon guitar from me, after seeing the demo model I built out of an old model kit. I determined that if I was to build one for a paying client, that I would need to find a "real" toy ship, that is more durable than a model kit. So I opted for the "Lights and Sounds" version that came out in the mid 90's. Very cool feature because it operates on 2 "C" batteries and will definitely be a cool plus for this guitar. Given the time constraint, and the importance of the show he has coming up, for which he needs this guitar, I spent most of my nights and weekends working on this when not doing repairs and restorations for other clients as well. I'm very proud to say that this project came out better than expected, plays and looks AWESOME, if I must say so myself! It's got nice low 1/16" action, strung with 10's, and ready to go!
