DESCRIPTION:
The guys with whom Mark Lanegan founded rock band Screaming Trees in 1985, were the only ones in the town of Ellensburg, Washington - near 'the home of grunge' Seattle - that listened to the same music as he did. Although the singer admits that his work with Screaming Trees made him the person he is now, Lanegan has mixed feelings about the music. "We made a lot of records that I would never listen to today."
