Scott Sharrard of the Gregg Allman Band on The Gibson Varitone ES-345 | Reverb Interview - Video
PUBLISHED:  Oct 01, 2016
DESCRIPTION:
Scott Sharrard, of the Gregg Allman Band, came by the Reverb studio to discuss his Gibson Varitone ES-345 (http://bit.ly/2dwW5qB) and the illusive varitone circuit. Scott is a rock-blues guitarist that needs to get a variety of tones but, like many blues guitarists, he loves the tone of a pushed tube amp and not much else. In order to create all of the sounds, he needs a guitar that can shift and change. In comes the Varitone ES-345. Scott shows how the varitone circuit can bring you from a classic ES-335 tone to that B.B. King honk to much more.
