S-CONTRO was born in september 2001 to give a voice about the facts of G8 in Genova .
The first song written was "21-07-01", and is about the "State violence" of these days. Carlo Giuliani was shot dead by Placanica, an italian "carabiniere" .
We are strictly Anti-fascist, with no compromise, shouting our hate in our music.
The first realease of the band , " L'inizio ", contained 5 songs and was recorded by the first line-up, with a clear " Oi! sound ".
After some time("America Assassina" - 2001 ,Anfibio Rec,ElPaso Rec) the sound went stronger and more powerful , some say more "hardcore", even "metal-influenced", but for us was just - and still is - our way and our will to make a wall of sound the best we can. In february 2007 is out "Kings of Fools".Still, of course, we love
(and forever will ! ) the great OI ! anthems!
We are always ready to give our support and help in benefit gigs for people and "situations" hit by state repression. We belong to the DIY CONSPIRACY,
no "alternative" bullshit.
OPPOSITION TO THIS SOCIETY MOVED BY MONEY,
