NEW VIDEO FROM 100% VOL.2 MIXTAPE 'DUMPIN DA SOUND'

"People you gotta understand I take my music career serious. I make music for everyone, trying to see the world not the endz. I WILL NOT LOSE!"

Scarz was discovered at the young age of 13 by his independent record label 'Wanted Recordz' in 2001. Starting out Scarz found inspiration in his church, admiring the work of the musicians and their creativity. This was where he made the decision to follow a career in music. At 14 he was battling rappers in the streets and nightclubs, struggling past bouncers showing people he had the credentials needed to challenge much older MC's. Scarz was reigning Champion for six weeks in Streatham's Forum (formerly known as Foxy Brown). Now, eight years on, Wanted Recordz have moulded him into a multi-talented artist; Rapper, Songwriter, Producer and Actor.
In the summer of 2006 the UK Hip Hop/Grime scene was shook up by his influential song called 'You got Boy'd'. Upon submitting this video to Channel U, in its first week of being aired it went straight to number 1 and stayed in the top 10 for 7 weeks. The song was fully embraced by young people everywhere, stamping its foot for a new era of terminology, the word 'Boy'd' becoming a commonly used phrase. From the success of You got Boy'd he went on to perform around the country in Kingston, Cardiff, Rochester, Portsmouth, Crawley and London's Hackney Ocean and many more. He has done shows alongside Scouting for Girls, Tinie Tempah, Pendulum, Mista Jam, Dj Cameo, Sway (signed to Akon's record label Konvict music), in Bournemouth and also performed in France where he got a great reception and was invited back to perform again.
Never just satisfied with writing, producing and marketing his music, in April 2008, he starred in Sony's revolutionary 'Sofia's Diary' playing Mikey, an aspiring DJ/Producer. The series was about a teenage girl uploading videos of her everyday life. It attracted 8 million viewers on Bebo and Channel Fiver (formally known as Five life) alone. The creators of the series also recognised his musical abilities and used several of his songs for the soundtrack, including 'Call me Scarz', 'Don't watch dat' ft. Twissman and his newest party starter 'Link Me'.
In 2008 Scarz decided to attend University while still pursuing his music career. He teamed up with Flip, a talented Producer from Reading, who brought a fresh new vibe to the 'Scarz' sound. Working together they created the infectious song 'Link me'. The response from his fans and the high demand for the comical but stylish 'Link me' T-Shirts was enough evidence that this song would be an instant hit, making it obvious that 'Link me' should be the next single for Scarz. From creating 'Link me', a new entrepreneurial team formed alongside Wanted Recordz, called J.A.I.L House. Their vision is to promote a powerful wave of new music and deal with other parts of marketing, photography, designs and ventures. This team includes Scarz, Flip, Nutso and college friend Zeka.
"Where do you see Scarz in the future?", "I see myself as an established artist; an example to my peers, giving people a guide on how to make, create and further yourself in music. These industry fools in the UK must think we're dumb, the way they underestimate us. I see it like this; you can't stop pure talent. Not the police, the government or the fat cats that sit in their towers making big decisions. It's been proved before and it will be proved again, only this time by me." It looks as if this young man has both his music and his mind right. He has more than a bright future ahead of him so sit back and watch him evolve.

Boy, just know that I'll always progress and we are not another collective of artists who want to claim fame on road, you get me! Expect the highest standard all da time from Wanted Recordz, all day, everyday BLOOD!
