DESCRIPTION:
The nationally-known vocal group, San Antonio Vocal Arts Ensemble (SAVAE) delve into America's traditional gospel music with acapella versions of classic hymns including: "Old Time Religion," "Amazing Grace" and "Shall We Gather By The River." In addition SAVAE performs several songs in the "shape note" tradition popular in 1800s America.
