PUBLISHED:  Oct 09, 2011
DESCRIPTION:
for TRULY GREAT MUSIC... and considering today (November 01, 2011) marks three years since the dog quit walking amongst us.... wanted to share this beautiful 2003 performance of his hit 'I Want A Woman', the B side of the SMASH 'Village of Love' 7", on Fortune Records, of Detroit, MI. Lazy, non-attentive, camera, but a splendid souvenir from a truly outstanding evening. Marking Nay Dog's return to NYC for the first time since his playing the Apollo, when he were merely 15. From October the 4th of 2003, with Sato and Jonny opening. Welcome an opportunity to hear Bill Peitsch, again, yelling, and sharing his joy of music. Performing with The Shanks; Mike Murphy on drums, Betty Brownlee on bass, Dale 'Big Blue' Beavers on guitar, Jeff Meier on guitar, Dan Mulholland on bkng vx and percussion. I am unaware of the names of the others, and will gladly add them to this listing if someone will send them to me. We are grateful for Nathaniel's exuberant narration in our feature film; Wayne County Ramblin'. Nathaniel was a stellar performer, and became a good friend of ours. We miss you, Nay Dog! He sure looks great in beloved Tommy Murphy"s sunglasses.
