A vocal recording session. Lily performing 'Ariel' at Satellite Recording Studio.

Soon after the vocal sessions at Soundbaker we initially thought it would be a good idea to create two versions of Ariel. We figured we'd let Rob Agostini do his thing without any instruction and set about creating our own mix 'Ariel [ext]'. This way we could present two interpretations of a pretty special song.

So the point is, we had to have another vocal recording session ... at Satellite Recording Studio. We chose to record 5 vocal takes of each version, and this piece of footage is of Lily's last vocal take of the session.

This extended mix has a more laid back approach ... and features dual Grammy winner Lucky Oceans on pedal steel. It certainly has its own flavour.
