I made this song one night in the wake of the numerous killings of innocent Americans throughout this country.

On June 17, 9 African-American churchgoers were killed while attending a service in Charleston, South Carolina.

248 people have been killed by police since June 1. The start of the summer season. It's only August 13th.
Names on this list include Samuel Dubose
Names not included - Sandra Bland, Kindra Chapman.

In a world driven by social media and ever-changing up to the minute news, I hope we don't lose focus on these issues until the next 'hashtag' comes along.
