We started off in 2006 and wanted to start a band in the veins of catharsis and from ashes rise.
By now, we've played over a 150 shows, played all over europe, seen a lot of cool inspiring places, met so many awesome people and new friends, and had a shitload of fun along the way. We're still enjoying this every single second! Oh yeah, we also released a 7" split with our friends M:40 from Sweden, a 12" split with Years of Decay from France and a split with Boredom from Austria. We love this stuff
The Sand Creek massacre (also known as the Chivington massacre or the Battle of Sand Creek) was an incident in the Indian Wars of the United States that occurred on November 29, 1864, when Colorado Territory militia attacked and destroyed a village of Cheyenne and Arapaho encamped on the eastern plains, massacring 150 unarmed brothers. These Indians had surrendered themselves to the U.S. Army at Fort Lyon, they were travelling to an Indian Reservation in Oklahoma, and believed themselves to be under the protection of the U.S. Government.
After this event, many Cheyenne, including the great warrior Roman Nose, and Arapaho men joined the Dog Soldiers and sought revenge on settlers throughout the Platte valley, killing as many as 200 civilians.
