Recorded on December 21 2008 at the New-York Historical Society. This ensemble Features Colombian percussionist and Composer SAMUEL TORRES performing his composition "Express to Queens".

This performance is part of the SOUND OF THE CITY series at the New-York Historical Society headed by John Yaffe.


Joining Samuel are JOHN BENITEZ on bass, OSMANY PAREDES on the piano, XAVIER PEREZ on the saxophone, MICHAEL RODRIGUEZ on the trumpet and ERNESTO SIMPSON on the drums.
