Rod Melancon, born and bred in South Louisiana, brought the bayou to the Blue Plate Special during his tour to support "LA-14", his latest release. On this EP he has recorded a collection of songs that bring us to the feel of haunted and hunted swampy, South Louisiana nights. This song, "Curve Lounge" was written in memory of one of Rod's friends, and he gives us details of the events that inspired the song.
