DESCRIPTION:
August 19, 2012 - Chianti Jazz Lounge - Jammin' on "Cold Duck Time" with the Boston Horns, led by trumpeter Garret Savluk. The clip opens with Garret wailing away on a Trumpet solo, then a Trombone solo. Efrem Towns of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band and I (John Abrahamsen) walk up to the stage. Efrem borrows my trumpet for a Trumpet solo, then a Bari Sax solo, then I get a Trumpet solo. Scott Aruda steps up and does a Flugelhorn solo, followed by Mike Tucker on a Tenor Sax solo... and many other great players. Rosemary Casey is up there on sax, Barrence Whitfield was there in the backroom. Please let me know the players names, so I can fill things in.
