I've been djing professionally since the late 90's. Tricky to pigeonhole my sets as they adapt and change according to the needs of each new occasion. I like to mix and link genres together as I believe there's great music to be found everywhere. It's this broad, altruistic attitude that make my sets exciting, unpredictable and successful.
Versatile dj, I'm equally comfortable playing Reggae / Dancehall mash ups and Dance music at warehouse parties/raves as I am rinsing the party classics at weddings. Occasionally, I play Electro at private views too.
But if you want to catch me at my most cheeky self, head to the "Stranger than Paradise" monthly event, which I co-founded and where I am resident dj. This is the place to hear my explosive mix of Balkan Gypsy, Klezmer, Cumbia, Ska, Rock and Roll, Rhythm and Blues, Electro Swing, Swing Jazz and French goodies!
I'm also known for being one of the pioneers and specialists of Gypsy / Balkan Beats and World Music in the UK.
Most notable gigs include djing for the After Party of the BBC3 World Music Awards (check link below with the posters), for the Cuban Music Awards and the Balkan Fever Festival. I've also djed alongside Mahala Rai Banda (One of the best Gypsy groups around), KAL, Ivo Papasov (Bulgaria's most famous clarinet player), Bratsch (Legendary French Folk band), Eugene Hutz (Gogol Bordello), Rona Hartner, The Dandy Warhols (Infamous Rock group) and more recently DJ Derek, Roots Manuva, Trojan Sound System and Jerry Dammers (The Specials). Will be djing alongside the Balkan Brass Battle (Fanfare Ciocarlia vs Boban & Marko Markovic Orchestra) in May 2011. In the last few summers, I've djed at festivals like Glastonbury, Bestival, Electric Picnic, Larmer Tree, Glade, Paradise Gardens and Isle of Wight.

As a music producer, I've made music for Television and Film, mainly for short films, idents, spots, adverts and documentaries. BBC and Discovery Channel being my main clients.
And finally, I occasionally write for Fact magazine, a well known website magazine. Where I put together with the help of Edo Bouman of Bombay connection, a Top 20 of Bollywood's craziest records and a Top 10 of Balkan Beats.
