DESCRIPTION:
Ry Rocklen is a songwriter, visual and recording artist from Los Angeles.

Starting in 2001, he begun recording a series of albums, each titled close to the source (High Ry's, Up Ry's, Ry Rock...) and each containing a slow and confident acknowledgment of life's ups and downs.

He holds a BFA in fine arts from the California Institute of the Arts and an MFA in fine arts from UCLA. His visual work has been featured in numerous US and international exhibitions, including the 2008 Whitney Biennial.

He has performed at several Human Ear concerts and appeared on its first edition hand made compilation CD.
