After one and a half decade and more than 400 releases, Compost Records bundles some of their finest tunes as Various Artists digital download compilation albums.The variety and full spectrum of Composts repertoire has never or rarely been presented in form of a musical genre compilation. These releases will be compiled or DJ-mixed by Composts artists and are available as digital downloads, except in some rare cases very very limited as 500 CDs. Again a dancefloor oriented remixes selection from self-proclaimed Compost Head Selectahs Rupert & Mennert. After the first successful volume they dived into some other genres, but the fine tracks that were left out in the first edition were always whispering and luring them back. So they started selecting again and after a while a new mix was assembled with maybe even bigger remixers. Maybe even the biggest that Compost ever released.In this new 60 minute selection you can hear absolutele stunning performances by Peter Kruder, Carl Craig, Christian Prommer, Zed Bias, Llorca (Art Of Tones), Marcus Worgull and more! Made for the dancefloor, this mix is something you want to dance to. They reside in Den Helder, The Netherlands. One of the most beautiful cities in the world. From there they send their music into the wide world. They broadcast a highly irregular radioshow called Weird Pigs. They remix tracks and invent new concepts about making music.Together with Me Raabenstein they released, as Lagerfeltz, an avant-garde album called Aar, on Nonine Recordings, Berlin.Together with remix-work for Energie du Verre, (twice) Ensemble du Verre (Batterie Records, Hamburg) and Timo Garcia (Compost) their release-roster is building.
