As in 'The Long March', The longest journey starts with the first step, and since taking His first steps towards being a musician, from the moment He picked up a guitar at the grand age of 8 yrs, Chris 'Ruff Diamond' Robinson has been relentless in his pace.
The journey has been a mixture of love, joy, happiness, hard work, heartbreak, success & struggle (in no particular order), and all of these experience make You who You are - how can you put emotion into your music & writing if you have never had to deal with a problem or setback in Your life?! And to RD, emotion, feeling, passion, respect, realness & honesty is everything, which is reflected deeply in His music & His humorous, but serious personality.
All of these qualities, in addition to being blessed with an abundance of natural talent, constant hard work, determination (and no sleep!) - have helped Chris become one of the most highly rated & respected R&B Producers and Musicians to have hailed from outside of the USA, contributing to multi-millions of record sales worldwide in the process.
From being a professional session musician in his teens in his hometown - Manchester, UK, His guitar skillz have graced numerous hit records for an array of artists ranging from Maxi Priest to The Shapeshifters, His remixing skillz have been called upon by artists from Beyonce Knowles to Keith Sweat to Estelle, He has written countless pieces of music placed on Film, Television, award winning worldwide TV commercials, and has written and produced hit records for artists globally.
