DESCRIPTION:
Following my series of French flageolet solo repertoire played on original instruments, I present here a second version of this piece, this time on a Buffet Crampon from 1900.
This instrument is in a very high pitch (A=447) and is most probably a military French flageolet. Military instruments were tuned in higher pitch or in normal pitch but one halftone higher. So, an A instrument would be in B flat and so on.
Bousquet marks one single whole passage with a piano. This can be achieved by pressing the "sifflet" key (left index finger) while using "normal" and alternate fingerings (it will depend on the note).

Seguindo a minha série de repertório solo para flageolet francês tocado em instrumentos originais, apresento, aqui, uma segunda versão dessa peça utilizando um Buffet Crampon de 1900.
Esse instrumento apresenta um diapasão bastante alto (lá=447) e é, muito provavelmente, um flageolet francês militar! Instrumentos militares eram afinados em diapasões mais altos ou em diapasão normal mas um semitom acima. Ou seja, um instrumento em lá seria construído em si bemol e assim por diante.
Bousquet indica uma única passagem inteira em piano. Isso pode ser feito acionando a chave de "sifflet" (indicador esquerdo) em conjunção com digitações "normais" e alternativas (dependendo da nota).
