As a true narrator of life experiences, Roxie Dean combines honesty, humor, vulnerability, and compassion to touch the hearts of all who hear her. She has always managed to find life’s sweetness with a grace that makes the stumbles and jagged-aches of life seem okay. “I hurt, but I also laugh, and you have to be prepared for both if you want to get out there and live.” Roxie Dean's songs are a reflection of her own experiences, ranging from upbeat and sometimes outright silly to a deeper, touching, real feeling.

Roxie's promise as a country songwriter was evident from early on, when her first cut, "Lonely," by Tracy Lawrence, topped the charts. She continued her success as a songwriter by delivering songs to be recorded by legendary artists such as Reba McIntire and LeAnn Womack. It wasn't soon before Roxie's song, "When I Think About Angels" was picked up by Jamie O'Neal, taking it all the way to secure a spot at 1 on the Billboard Charts.

Roxie's success was noticeable and in 2001 Roxie's own artistic vision was realized as she signed on to Dreamworks Records in Nashville, TN. Finally able to record her own tracks, Roxie released "Everyday Girl," which stayed on the Top 50 Country Sales Charts for a full year, and was highlighted by Lifetime Television for Women. There wasn't much that Roxie couldn't do.

In 2005, after Dreamworks Records finally shut its doors, Roxie aligned with Valhalla Music group to release the song "A Soldier's Wife" from her first solo album, "Ms. America." The song resonated with military families nationwide, providing a comforting voice to those soldier's wives in need of an understanding voice. Beyond the sympathy offered, Roxie contributes a portion of all sales to the Armed Services Relief Fund.

Roxie continues her pursuit to reach out and share her visions and experiences with others. She has remained an active songwriter and artist, and now, as a newfound mother, Roxie finds herself introduced to a fresh pool of inspiration. Additionally, a recent signing with MusicTaste, a boutique record label focused on the commitment of sharing the words, music, and emotions of Roxie Dean, has provided a new outlet for her as an artist.

It’s no secret that she has a lifetime’s-worth of experience under her belt, but it is still only the beginning. The world of music hasn’t heard the last of Roxie Dean—there’s a long road of music ahead to be born from the fruits of her talent, and it’s bound to be a great one.
