DESCRIPTION:
More than a hundred children from across city schools join well-known classical pianist Anil Srinivasan to present a tribute to the various "baanis" or 'musical styles' in South Indian Carnatic Music.

While the term 'baani' has been loosely interpreted to mean 'style', it means much more. Sensitizing children to the importance of these differences, while stressing the immenseness of the legacy they have inherited, this presentation in association with Karthik Fine Arts will take place on 28th December, at 10:20 AM
