Bio:
Finally - after 3 years - Roman Wreden's brand new album "Wayfarers" is out now!
This new journey provides intricate wild stories and haunting melodies, once morbid and sullen, once challenging, once fey, all performed by Roman's bold baritone.
Supported and illustrated by the magic guitars of Zura Dzagnize, a rakish band and illustrious guest musicians the songs add up to an enthralling whole, complete in itself, offering new discoveries every time you listen to the album.
Artists and close companions like Sea+Air (vocals), Matthias Engelhardt (violins), Stefan Koschitzki (clarinet), Jochen Weeber (accordion) or marie louise (vocals) showed up in the studio enhancing the songs.
The album was produced by Ralv Milberg at Milberg Studios Stuttgart.
Before "Wayfarers" the albums "Trophy" and "Willow Tree" had been officially released in 2006 and 2009. Besides his own recordings Roman frequently appears as a guest singer on various electronic projects.
With his former band Lost in Venice and solo Roman Wreden supported great acts on tour like Cardigans, Suzanne Vega, The Beautiful South, Stereophonics and Interpol.
