This debut record from Portland, Oregon's stoner rock (or "brontosaurus rock," as they like to refer to themselves) trio has been a very long time in the making. The band formed in the winter of 2009 and has since recorded and self-released an EP and a 7", but it wasn't until the group was signed to EasyRider Records last summer that this thunderous double-LP came to fruition. Unlike many bands in the vastly-growing genre of stoner/doom/sludge and all of the above and in between, Sons Of Huns packs the punch of a lifetime worth of classical training, making their rhythms and guitar solos as tightly honed as they are downright tasty. Armed with a double stack of Orange cabs and two Gibson SGs, Peter Hughes can seemingly out-riff anyone who dares stand in his path. Take all of the musical chops and add a pinch of sci-fi undertones and you've got an album as massive and fun as Banishment Ritual.

The gatefold vinyl record features the artwork of the legendary Adam Burke and officially comes out on November 29th.
