Kev Roc combines his passion and skill for hip hop production and audio engineering at Roc on Command Studios in New Jersey. It is here where his Central Jersey background and experience cultivating beats develops into an unforgettable style which sets him apart from the average hip hop producer. Rocs composition combines the use of samples as well as live instruments which garners appreciation from the hip hop community as well as music fans in general. Although Kev Rocs style is highly versatile, it has been compared to the likes of Just Blaze, Kanye, and The Neptunes.



All beats produced by Roc on Command are produced and recorded on Protools, resulting in a high quality product surpassing industry standards. His technique is anchored by the playing of classically trained musicians on instruments including the guitar, bass, and keyboard. Samples used by Kev range from Peaches and Herb to Fela Kuti and include anything and everything in between.



Kev Roc attended SAE (School of Audio Engineering) in New York City and incorporates his refined production background with his raw hip hop. His eclectic taste for music allows him to be influenced by a diverse variety of artists such as DJ Premier, Tom Petty, and Curtis Mayfield. His achievements with local performers has strengthened his artistic credibility and given energy to the hip hop artists as well as the musical community he serves. Jerseys here!
