A project conceived on the cooled ashes of several Dallas musical acts, The Jealous set sail as a creative experiment and collaboration between musicians, producers, photographers, and designers determined to keep the idea of art and self expression alive while living in a society that doesn't seem to care about either of those things. What other price would you pay to chase your dream, if money wasn't the goal? While it's not a style that you might expect from members who all got their start playing in the DFW metal/hardcore scene, the Texas quintet decided to take a less aggressive and more organic approach this time around by venturing into a slightly more soulful sound.

The latest effort from The Jealous, appropriately entitled 'Attention Whore', is a track that was co-produced by Alex Bhore (This Will Destroy You) and Geoff Rockwell (Reagan James). "We really respect and trust those two as producers. They are honestly the best at what they do but they are also both great drummers, which ultimately I think was important to all of us from the beginning," states Lucas, the project's founding member and rhythm guitarist.
