Rob Hubbard - IK+ ---behind the notes--- - Video
PUBLISHED:  Feb 18, 2017
DESCRIPTION:
Welcome to a brand new "behind the notes".
This time we would like to take on Rob Hubbard "IK+".
Rob Hubbard was known to be one of his kind when it came to make sounds and use the sounds in an effective way. This was most because he wrote his songs in segments using programs to generate rhythms and baselines. Those programs could be manipulated directly via the SID register to change behavior and output different parameters to control other programs.
In this fine example of his player we take a look how this was done.

Composer: Rob Hubbard
Songname: IK+
Released: 1987 System 3
SID Model: 6581R2 (early model from 83)
Player: Rob Hubbard V87.03

Thanks for watching another fine ---behind the notes---
NOTE: I am fully aware this is far from RH original source but this is as close as we can get, for now.
